Sony DSC-S600 Problems and Solutions This is how I resolved certain camera issues. User assumes all responsibility and risk

Problem: After the Mod All Functions possible but camera will not shutter a picture. Verification: Turn AF luminator on, Press shutter half-way, Verify AF luminator turns on. Possible Cause: Solder bridge occurred during the modification. Example: Solder blob causing a short on the switch.
Possible Solution: Use some Desoldering Braid to remove excess solder. This Desoldering braid can be found at Radio Shack #64-2090. Lay Braid on solder blob, apply solder iron momentarily to braid. Check switch for solder blob removal status. Repeat until solder blob is removed. Take caution not to over heat and damage the switch.
